The Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association (NOMA) is proud to present the 2026 Conference & Annual General Meeting, taking place April 22–24, 2026 in Thunder Bay, under the theme “Resilience.”  This year's conference will be proudly hosted by the Kenora District Municipal Association (KDMA)

This year’s conference will spotlight the strength, innovation, and determination of Northwestern Ontario’s municipalities as they navigate rapid change — from housing pressures and infrastructure demands to resource development, labour attraction, energy needs, community safety, and respectful partnership with Indigenous communities. “Resilience” reflects not only our region’s ability to withstand challenges, but to adapt, collaborate, and emerge stronger.
