Non-profit and not-for-profit entities are key contributors to communities and often set neighbourhoods apart by creating opportunities for community members to socialize, to exercise, and to learn in a safe and constructive way. From a risk management perspective however, they represent unique risk exposures that at times, can leave them vulnerable to a variety of claims; most often, abuse-related.
