Meet Lisa Venier
Lisa Venier, Program Standards Manager, Ministry of Transportation
Lisa is the Program Standards Manager of the Carrier Sanctions and Investigations Office of the Commercial Safety and Compliance Branch. Her 30 years in the Ontario Public Service has seen her hold many roles within the Commercial Compliance Branch. She began as graduate from Brock University with an Honours degree in Psychology and was asked to conduct an effectiveness study on the CVOR program’s Intervention model. Since then, she has held the role of CVOR Analyst and a Senior Regulatory Compliance Administrator. In July of 2022, she began her role as the Program Standards Manager of the CVOR program. On her time off, you can find her planning multiple trips somewhere in the world or in the summertime, spending time in her garden.
Meet Kristin Scott
Kristin Scott, Senior Policy Advisor, Ministry of Transportation
Kristin is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Carrier Sanctions and Investigations Office of the Commercial Safety and Compliance Branch. She holds a master’s degree in political science and began her career with the Ministry of Transportation in 2009, working in oversize/overweight permits, carrier safety policy and as a CVOR Analyst. Kristin is experienced in office administration, government processes, policy making and regulatory compliance. Outside of work you can find Kristin chasing after her kids or spending time in her trailer.
Meet Sud Malhotra
Sud Malhotra, Fleet Solutions Specialist, Intact Public Entities
With over seven years’ experience in the transportation industry, Sud has held various roles including Safety & Compliance Manager, and Fleet Manager. Sud began his career in the insurance industry in 2021 with Intact Insurance before transitioning to IPE a year later. As part of the Risk Management Department, Sud ensures IPE’s Municipal & Public Administration and Community Service Organization clients remain proactive and compliant with regional and provincial guidelines as they pertain to fleet and road safety. To advance his industry knowledge and expertise, Sud has received instructor training from the Ontario Safety League and holds a Commercial Driver’s License. He also completed his CRM Certificate from the University of Toronto. As an active promoter of road safety, Sud participates as a member of various industry related organizations including PMTC and the Fleet Safety Council.
